SAP BW Open Hub Destination
An Open Hub Destination is created in order to transfer BW data to a Flat file, Database table or Directly to a third-party tool. It is mapped to an InfoProvider by means of a transformation.
The open hub destination is the object that allows you to distribute data from a BI system to non-SAP data marts, analytical applications, and other applications. It ensures controlled distribution across multiple

Creating Open Hub Destinations:
Follow the steps to create and execute the Open Hub Destination.
Step 1
1. In the Modelling area of the Data Warehousing Workbench, choose the open hub destination tree.
Now we are going to take data from 0FIAR_C30 cube to a flat file...
Provide Tech Name & Description
Provide the Destination ( Basically we use destination as directory ( Path T.code AL11 DIR_HOME)
Activate open hub
Transformation and DTP is created... now Execute DTP to pull data from Cube to Destination.
OHD come to picture when we want to export data to Non-SAP systems using APIs and a third-party tool.
